Bible Voice - Privacy Policy

HASEGI Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Bible Voice ("Tongue of the Word") mobile application ("App").
Summary: Bible Voice is a voice-based Bible transcription app — read Scripture aloud and track your progress verse by verse. We collect minimal data and do not sell your personal information.
🔒 Voice Data Security: Voice recognition in Bible Voice is processed entirely on-device. Your voice is never transmitted to or stored on our servers — it is handled securely within the app only.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information (via Social Sign-In):
- Google Sign-In: Email address, profile picture (optionally provided)
- Sign in with Apple: Email address (private relay email may be used)
- Kakao Login: Email address, nickname, and profile picture (if consent is given)
- Nickname: Display name set directly within the app for rankings and group participation.
- Transcription Data: Bible verses completed by voice in Solo, Group, or Everyone modes. (Voice audio itself is NOT stored.)
- Group Information: Group names, membership, and group-specific progress when participating in Group Mode.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: App usage patterns, feature interactions, and voice transcription statistics.
- Advertising Identifiers: Google AdMob collects your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android) for serving personalized ads.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Voice Audio: Your voice is processed on-device only. No audio recordings are transmitted to or stored on our servers.
1.4 Information Collected by Third-Party Service Infrastructure
We do not directly collect or store the following. However, third-party services we rely on may collect this information as part of their standard operations:
- IP Address & Access Logs: Supabase (auth and database infrastructure), Google, Apple, and Kakao sign-in services may log your IP address for security purposes.
- Device Information: Device type and operating system version may be collected by sign-in providers and Google AdMob.

3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Data Storage
- Cloud Storage: We use Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on secure cloud infrastructure to store your account and progress data.
- Local Processing: All voice recognition is performed entirely on-device. Solo Mode data and all voice processing stay on your device — never transmitted to servers.
3.2 Security Measures
- SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission
- Secure authentication via OAuth 2.0 (Google, Apple, Kakao)
- Row-level security policies for database access
- Regular security audits and updates
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
4.1 We May Share Your Information With:
- Other Users: Your nickname and transcription statistics are visible on public leaderboards or within your groups.
- Service Providers: Supabase (database hosting), Google (authentication, AdMob), Apple (authentication), Kakao (authentication).
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government request.
4.2 We Do NOT:
- Sell your personal information or voice data to third parties
- Share your email address publicly
- Transmit or store your voice recordings
5. Your Rights
- View Your Data: Access your voice transcription progress and statistics within the app.
- Update Information: Nickname editing will be available in a future app update.
- Delete Account: You can delete your account directly from the in-app Settings menu. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted immediately. This action cannot be undone as no backups are retained. For assistance: hasegi.cs@gmail.com
- Advertising Preferences: On iOS, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads. Premium subscription removes all advertisements entirely.
6. Children's Privacy
Bible Voice is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Data Retention
- Active Accounts: We retain your data while your account is active.
- Deleted Accounts: All data is permanently deleted immediately upon account deletion and cannot be recovered.
