Keenly Privacy Policy

Effective: June 22, 2026

1. Summary

• Keenly does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number.
• Your results — daily scores, streak, best score, and history — are stored on your device. We do not transmit them to our servers.
• Keenly shows ads via Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may process device identifiers (including an advertising ID) and similar data, as described in Section 3.
• Keenly offers a one-time Keenly Pro purchase that removes ads and unlocks unlimited Practice. Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store; we do not see or store your payment card details.
• Keenly does not request your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or photos.

2. Information We Handle

(1) Data stored on your device only

By default, the App does not require sign-up and does not collect personally identifiable information. The following is created by your use of the App and stored only inside the App's local storage on your device:

• Game results: your daily score, finest color difference detected, streak, best score, and a short history of recent results
• Practice counters: how many practice runs you have unlocked or used on a given day
• Entitlement flag: whether you own Keenly Pro
• App preferences: sound, haptics, color-vision (CVD) mode, language, and similar settings

This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

(2) Advertising data (Google AdMob)

Keenly displays ads using Google AdMob (interstitial ads after a daily result, and optional rewarded ads to unlock Practice). To serve and measure ads, AdMob and Google may collect and process information such as a device advertising identifier (Apple IDFA / Android Advertising ID), IP address, general device and app information, and your interactions with ads. This processing is performed by Google as described in Section 3 and in Google's policies. Owning Keenly Pro turns ads off.

(3) Purchase data (Keenly Pro)

Keenly offers a single one-time in-app purchase, Keenly Pro. The purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store through Apple StoreKit and Google Play Billing. The relevant store may process a pseudonymous purchase identifier and your purchase status so that Keenly Pro can be unlocked and restored across your own devices. We do not receive or store your credit card or payment information; that is handled entirely by the app stores.

(4) Diagnostic information from the platform

The operating system and app stores may collect aggregate, largely anonymous diagnostic and usage statistics (such as crash reports and install counts) under their own policies. You can control crash and analytics sharing in your device's system settings.

3. Advertising and Tracking (Google AdMob)

Keenly uses Google AdMob to show advertisements. Google acts as an independent service provider and processes advertising data under its own privacy policy.

• What is processed: an advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / Advertising ID on Android), IP address, coarse device and app information, and ad interaction events, used to deliver, cap, and measure ads and to limit fraud.
• Personalized vs. non-personalized ads: depending on your consent and settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Where required, we present a consent choice before personalized ads are shown.
• App Tracking Transparency (iOS): on iOS, the system asks for your permission before the app can use the IDFA for tracking. If you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalized using the IDFA.
• Your controls: you can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings — iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads. You can also opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
• Remove ads entirely: purchasing Keenly Pro disables all ads in the App.

4. In-App Purchase (Keenly Pro)

Keenly is free to download and play. The optional one-time Keenly Pro purchase removes ads and unlocks unlimited Practice and full history. All payments are processed by the app store through which you purchased.

• Apple App Store: manage purchases and request refunds at support.apple.com/billing.
• Google Play Store: manage purchases and request refunds at support.google.com/googleplay.

We do not collect or store your payment card details. Refunds are handled by the app stores under their own policies.

Uninstalling the App removes all data stored locally on that device, including your scores and streak. This data cannot be recovered after uninstall, as it is never copied to our servers.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not operate any server for Keenly. The following providers are involved only in the limited functions described above and are governed by their own privacy policies:

7. App Permissions

Keenly requests only what it needs and plays fine with minimal permissions:

• Internet access: used to load advertisements and to process the Keenly Pro purchase. The daily puzzle itself is generated on your device and does not require a connection.

Keenly does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, or photos.

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

1. Delete all local data: uninstalling the App removes all scores, streak, and settings stored on that device. Because this data is never sent to us, uninstalling fully deletes it.
2. Control advertising: reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings, decline App Tracking Transparency on iOS, or opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
3. Remove ads: purchase Keenly Pro to disable ads.
4. Purchase data: managed through your app store account.
5. Requests: for any privacy request or question, contact us at hasegi.cs@gmail.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

9. Data Security

• On-device isolation: local data is stored inside the App's sandboxed storage, protected from other apps by the operating system.
• Data minimization: we collect no personal information ourselves; ad data is processed by Google under its own safeguards.
• Encryption in transit: data exchanged for advertising and billing is sent over encrypted connections by the respective providers.

10. Children's Privacy

Keenly is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App shows ads served by Google AdMob, we configure ad requests in line with the app stores' and Google's policies for general-audience apps. If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with the App, please contact us at hasegi.cs@gmail.com and we will address it.

11. International Users

Hasegi Inc. is based in the Republic of Korea. Where data is processed (for example, for advertising or billing), it may be processed on servers located in other countries under the policies of the relevant service providers. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws.

This Privacy Policy is effective from June 22, 2026. If we make material changes, we will update this page and, where appropriate, provide in-app notice. Continued use of the App after an update takes effect constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy.
