Mesos Privacy Policy

Effective: June 21, 2026

1. Summary

• Mesos does not require an account to use. You can plan and log workouts entirely on your device.
• Your training logs are stored on your device. We do not transmit them to our servers unless you choose to enable cloud sync (see Section 4).
• Mesos shows no advertisements and includes no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs at launch.
• Subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store through their billing systems. We do not see or store your payment card details.
• The fitness information you enter is a personal training log, not medical data, and Mesos is not a medical device.

2. Information We Handle

(1) Data stored on your device only

By default, the App does not require sign-up and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email, or phone number. The following is created by you and stored only inside the App's local storage on your device:

• Training logs: exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, durations, rest times, dates, and personal notes you enter
• Workout plans and routines you create
• Body metrics you choose to enter (such as body weight), if you use those features
• App preferences: units (kg/lb), interface language, theme, and similar settings

This data is user-entered fitness and training information. It is not medical data and is not used by us for any medical, diagnostic, or clinical purpose.

(2) Data processed by the app stores for purchases

Mesos offers optional paid subscriptions and one-time in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store through Apple StoreKit and Google Play Billing. In connection with a purchase, the relevant store and billing service may process a pseudonymous purchase or app-user identifier and your purchase or subscription status (for example, whether a subscription is active, expired, or in trial) so that your purchased features can be unlocked and restored across your own devices. We do not receive or store your credit card or payment information; that is handled entirely by the app stores.

(3) Diagnostic information from the platform

The operating system and app stores may collect aggregate, largely anonymous diagnostic and usage statistics (such as crash reports and install counts) under their own policies. You can control crash and analytics sharing in your device's system settings.

3. We Do Not Use Ads or Tracking SDKs

At launch, Mesos contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not use advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA), do not build advertising profiles, and do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and obtain any consent required by law before any such feature is enabled.

4. Optional Account and Cloud Sync

A future version of Mesos may offer an optional account and cloud sync so you can back up your data and access it across devices. This feature is off by default and only takes effect if you explicitly create an account and enable sync.

• If you enable it, the data needed to operate your account (such as an email address or a sign-in identifier) and a copy of the workout data you choose to sync would be transmitted to and stored on our service provider's servers solely to provide the sync and backup feature.
• We will not enable cloud sync silently. When the feature ships, this policy will be updated to describe the specific data involved, the service providers used, retention, and how to delete synced data, and you will be asked to opt in.
• Until you opt in, Mesos remains fully usable as a local-only app.

5. Storage Locations and Retention

Uninstalling the App removes all data stored locally on that device. If you have not enabled cloud sync, that data cannot be recovered after uninstall, so please export or back up anything you wish to keep.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

By default Mesos does not operate any server and does not share your information with third parties. The following providers are involved only in the limited functions described above and are governed by their own privacy policies:

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Optional subscriptions and one-time in-app purchases unlock premium features. All payments, renewals, and cancellations are processed by the app store through which you purchased. Refunds are handled by the app stores under their own policies, not directly by us:

• Apple App Store: request refunds and manage subscriptions at support.apple.com/billing and in your Apple account settings.
• Google Play Store: request refunds and manage subscriptions at support.google.com/googleplay and in the Play Store app.

We do not collect or store your payment card details. Please review the applicable store's terms for full pricing, renewal, trial, and refund rules.

8. App Permissions

Mesos requests only the permissions needed for the features you use, and it functions without an internet connection for core logging. Permissions may include:

• Internet access: used only for processing in-app purchases and subscriptions and, if you opt in, cloud sync. Logging workouts locally does not require a connection.

Mesos does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, or photos unless a specific feature you use requires it and you grant permission.

9. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You remain in control of your data at all times:

1. Delete a logged set: while logging a session, long-press a set to remove it before you finish the session.
2. Delete all local data: uninstalling the App removes all training data stored on that device. If you have not enabled cloud sync, that data cannot be recovered after uninstall.
3. Delete account and synced data (if applicable): if you have enabled the optional account/cloud sync, you can delete your account and all synced data. To request deletion, contact us at hasegi.cs@gmail.com and we will process the request within the period required by applicable law.
4. Subscription data: managed through your app store account; you may cancel at any time in your store settings.

10. Data Security

• On-device isolation: local data is stored inside the App's sandboxed storage, protected from other apps by the operating system.
• Data minimization: we process only what is necessary to provide the features you use.
• No advertising or tracking SDKs: there are no embedded third-party trackers in the App at launch.
• Encryption in transit: any data transmitted for billing or, in the future, cloud sync is sent over encrypted connections.

11. Children's Privacy

Mesos is intended for users 17 years of age and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through an optional account, please contact us at hasegi.cs@gmail.com and we will delete it.

12. Not Medical Advice

The fitness and training information you record in Mesos is for personal tracking and planning only. Mesos is not a medical device and does not provide medical, diagnostic, or treatment advice. Always consult a qualified professional before beginning or changing any exercise program. Use the App at your own discretion.

13. International Users

Hasegi Inc. is based in the Republic of Korea. Where data is processed (for example, for billing or optional cloud sync), it may be processed on servers located in other countries under the policies of the relevant service providers. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws.

15. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective from June 21, 2026. If we make material changes, including before enabling any optional account or cloud sync feature, we will update this page and, where appropriate, provide in-app notice. Continued use of the App after an update takes effect constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy.
