Recall Privacy Policy

Effective: May 30, 2026

1. Purposes of Processing

We process the minimum information necessary for the following purposes only.

1. Providing the game service
   • Persisting game progress (best score, best stage, games played)
   • Persisting user preferences (sound effects, haptics, language)
2. Advertising and service operation
   • Banner, interstitial, rewarded, app-open, and native ads via Google AdMob
   • Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent management on iOS
3. App sharing
   • When you tap the share button at the top of the Home screen, your operating system's native share sheet is invoked so you can forward a short Recall description and store links to other apps (messengers, email, etc.). We do not log or analyze the share action itself.

2. Information Handled

(1) Information stored on your device only

The App requires no sign-up or login and does not collect personally identifiable information such as name, email, or phone number.

The following information is stored only inside the App's local storage (SharedPreferences) and is never transmitted to any external server.

• Best score (recall.bestScore)
• Best stage reached (recall.bestStage)
• Total games played (recall.gamesPlayed)
• Sound effects on/off (recall.soundOn)
• Voice on/off (recall.voiceOn)
• Haptics on/off (recall.hapticsOn)
• Interface language (recall.locale)

(2) Information collected automatically (third-party SDKs)

The Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) included in the App may automatically collect the following information for ad delivery.

• Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA)
• IP address
• Device information (OS version, device model, language, country, app version)
• Ad impression and click event information

The above information is processed in accordance with Google's privacy policy and may be transmitted to and processed on servers operated by Google LLC (including in the United States) for ad delivery. See policies.google.com/privacy for details.

iOS users: On iOS 14+, Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system prompt is shown once on first launch. IDFA is used for personalized ads only if you allow tracking. If you decline, all game features remain fully available and non-personalized ads are shown instead.

(3) Ad formats

Recall shows the following ad formats:

• Banner: bottom of the Home and Game Over screens.
• Interstitial: shown periodically when you restart a game.
• Rewarded: shown only when you explicitly choose to watch one in the "Revive" dialog that appears immediately after a game over. If you decline or close the dialog, no rewarded ad is shown. We do not separately log or analyze whether you watched a rewarded ad; the only information we recognize is a one-time per-game flag used to enforce the "one revive per game" rule.
• App Open: on cold start and when returning from long background.
• Native: shown inside the exit confirmation dialog that appears when you press the Android back gesture on the Home screen.

Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored game data. Recovery is not possible.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share your information with any third party except in the following cases.

• When you have given prior consent
• When required by law or by lawful request from investigative authorities

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not operate any server and do not entrust personal information processing to outside parties. The App includes the following third-party SDKs / services governed by their own privacy policies.

6. App Permissions

Recall uses only the minimum permissions required to operate the game.

• Internet access (required): used to load ads. The game itself is fully playable without an internet connection; only ads will be unavailable.
• App Tracking Transparency (iOS, optional): used to ask your permission for personalized advertising. All game features remain available regardless of your choice.

Recall does not request any other permission such as camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, files, or notifications.

7. Your Rights

You may control your game data and advertising identifier at any time using the following methods.

1. iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle off "Recall"
2. Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Reset advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
3. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data at once

8. Data Deletion

When you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device. We do not operate any server, so no personal data is retained on our side.

9. Data Security

• Technical measures: Game data is stored only inside the App's sandboxed local storage, isolated from external access by the operating system.
• Data minimization: We process only the minimum information necessary to provide the service.
• Third-party SDKs: We use only well-established SDKs (Google AdMob) and rely on their providers' privacy practices.

10. Children's Privacy

Recall is a memory-puzzle game targeted at general audiences. The App requires no account registration and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information. We recommend that users under 14 use the App under guardian supervision. For inquiries regarding deletion of locally stored data or App management, please contact us using the information below.

11. Personal Information Officer

Hasegi Inc. designates the following personal information officer to oversee personal-information-related matters and to handle user complaints and remedies.

12. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective from May 30, 2026. Updates will take effect upon posting on this page or by in-app notice.
